Mayor Gonnelli Message - 4-03-20

Dear Resident:

These are unprecedented times, and difficult too. However, I would like to remind everyone that it is time to focus on how we live, laugh and work TOGETHER. What most of us love about this Town is that residents really care about our community and neighbors. The Town Council and I are very touched by the number of calls we get from residents and businesses asking us how they can help.

We have groups of citizens making reusable masks, individuals and organizations donating gloves and surgical masks, volunteers sending meals for hospital staff and first responders, residents and businesses donating to the Secaucus Food Pantry. I am so impressed with the generous donations that came into the Secaucus Emergency Fund and other efforts. Collectively, these make a huge difference and I am so proud about how the community is coming together to help.

Let’s continue this collective, positive surge, and we will get through this together. Let’s share positive thoughts, and most of all, stay connected with loved ones, even as we stay indoors.
